I agree. I don't think Pac is the issue here. I think it's between Arum and Floyd.

Pac is part of the issue too. He nearly pulled out of the Hatton fight because Arum had negotiated 50/50 and Pac wanted a bigger split. In the end, Arum had to pay Pac some extra out of his own share of the purse in order to make the fight go forward. I suspect that Pac would settle for 51/49 in his favour against Mayweather, but I doubt Floyd would agree to that. So it's hard to see how they're going to be able to make a deal - except that with so much money on the table, they ought to be able to find some way to make it happen. At least I hope so. But there was a lot of money on the table for Hopkins-Jones II in 2001, but they couldn't agree terms then, so there are bad precedents from the past. We'll see.

it might be hard for cotto fans to accept but this result was the best for boxing. Pacquiao goes against Mayweather, and Cotto faces Margarito in a rematch. thats what i wanted to see all along

Cotto did do a job softening up Pacman for Mayweather. make no mistake MAYWEATHER WILL FIGHT AND DESTROY pacman. the bloody ears shows its the beginning of the end for manny. great fight tho and a terrific performance. i thought cotto was 2 big but manny proved me wrong

That was a great fight. made the marquez mayweather fight look like a sparring session between amateurs. manny is a badass in the ring no doubt about that. i dont think manny should fight mayweather. cause mayweather is in there for the money and to protect his 0. Manny's right, mayweather wants to just get the fight done and collect his paycheck. IF you ask me that fight would be like the last 3 fights of the cotto pacquiao fight with mayweather throwing one or two punches and running from manny all the time. plus im sure there will be a catch weight and its obvious that mayweather cant make that low of weight. Mayweather should stay away from pac and fight someone like cotto or mosley. cause if mayweather engages with pac he's gonna get caught. and manny's got some serious pop behind his punches. So really come on give manny credit cotto wasnt drained, wasnt shot, he just got beat by a better fighter and boxer. cause untill the second knockdown cotto was in reality in control of the fight. mayweather has a better shot with a slower opponent that cant match his speed. look at the zab judah fight mayweather was knocked down by someone that doesn't hit near as hard as manny, and isn't as aggressive as manny. mayweather is now just fighting to make money and not get beaten. so he's probably gonna finish his career not beating the best there is out there. cause if he was great like HE says he is then he would have taken that fight with mosley after he beat marquez.

WTF are you talking about. In order for May to fight the best he obviously has to fight Pac. And if he beats Pac then everything you said means nothing. You want him to fight the best but not Manny? Pac and Floyd are the two best fighters in the world. Manny just destroyed the best 147 lb fighter. So if Floyd beats Manny, he is def the best 147 lb fighter.
