If Mosley doesn`t get old - he wins. And this time probably by stoppage... I think Cotto should reunite with Evangelisto - in this case he might have some more fights left (Evangelitso always had a plan for the fight and a plan B and maybe even an extra plan)...

look man i said i dont really care who won because im not a Cotto fan or a Panfan i think there both great fighters and it was a great fight but Floyd beats them both so it really didn't matter who won because they would both loose against Floyd anyway

Featherweight dude, remember Pac TKO Barrera? Barrera holds the WBC belt and he relinquished it, but he was the lineal champion of FW then. JR WW is also included he beat the lineal champ Hatton (w/ IBO belt) who happens to hold the WBC but relinquished it also just as Barrera did.

Props to Manny. As a Cotto fan, this was wildly disappointing. He didn't seem to use an intelligent gameplan. He should've bullied Manny around the ring like he used to do to all of his other smaller opponents, but elected to back up. His trainer should've looked at Mosley's win over Margarito. Even though Manny is a different kind of fighter than Margs, that strategy would have been more effective. I'd like to see him fight someone he can beat then retire. He definitely needs a new corner though. Once again, cong**** Pac Man. I wonder who he fights next.

cotto felt manny's power ryt in the first round,...that's why!!
the power exchange in the second didn't hurt manny badly.
and so miguel went down the first time....
he was even more hurt in the fourth...with welts starting in his face.

Cotto's corner including his Dad gave him one more round after the 10th and when the round finished, Cotto practically begged them NOT TO STOP THE FIGHT and finally convinced. he even thanked them for that on the post fight interview on the ring.

Cotto, the former 105 lber, is a warrior he tried to do his best against a guy that was simply better and that was pounding and dominating him, but even going backwards Cotto never stop trying.

BTW you were proven wrong and I was proven right, A Good Small Fighter can Beat A Good Bigger Fighter.

cotto wasn't exactly running per se.
he was buying time...to figure out how to counter manny.
he was trying to make manny come chase him and for manny to lower his guard.
...and cotto was looking for a good opening for "one lucky punch".
sadly for him it didn't come.

i don't think his corner was advicing him on what to do...how to adjust.

Big ups to Pac. I was rooting for Cotto and thought he could pull it out, but I feared the type of domination that was displayed in the ring.

Pacquiao is without question an all time great. I just hope for boxing's sake nothing comes out in the future to make us second guess Pac's accomplishments.

if welter is from 141 to 147 then whats the point in a catchweight?? manny should have had no problem then with cotto fighting at 147 and not make him come down,,,i don't buy that argument...it seems to me like manny makes his opponents come down to get that extra advantage,i also don't think it's fair that if you ask for a catchweight,both should make the 145 limit,not just cotto and manny come in lighter...

talk to oscar and miguel.....ask them if they were taken advantage of!!
for your info...they are the only 2 fyts at catchwt for manny...simply because the 2 are naturally bigger.
and so the predictions that manny won't be able to take and match their powers!!

Just watched the fight. From what I'd had heard I expected as one sided as the Oscar fight. Was glad that Cotto didn't look too out classed for the first half of the fight and managed to get some good punches in at times.

The second half was pretty brutal. Should have been stopped a long time before it did IMO as it was obvious that Cotto didn't have it in him to win or do any real damage to the pac.

I'm glad boxing has fighters as dominating as Pac and Mayweather. If either of them were any less phenomenal, if either had recent and significant losses the situation we'd have in boxing right now would be very disappointing. To have these two on the loose right now is the most exciting time in boxing inrecent years. The only fight anyone has really wanted to see for close to three years now must be made. This is what boxing needs most right now. I'm glad neither Hatton, nor Marquez, nor Cotto was able to dilute the ferocity of Pac's run thus far because what we've ended up with is the potential for a truly classic war. Thanks to both Pac and Money for being so bad-ass that there is something this big to look forward to. And, best of all, it appears that neither has lost anything with time but are at their peaks. God, I love boxing.
