yeah i think it will happen but not in March or anytime soon i think Floyd wants another fight before he fights Pacquiao i mean Marquez was a tune up but i think it was a little to easy and Floyd wants a tougher fight to really see where his skills are now i dont know who but Floyd wants another fight before he fights Pac or Mosley because even though he beat Marquez he knows he could have done better and i think he wants to be at his best for the superfights people want to see but i do think the fight will happen maybe late next year

hahah thanks man i just think that the best fighters should fight the other best fighters no excuses...which is what pac is doin...he's not afraid of no one...and floyd while he is a gread defensive fighter he doesnt always take the toughest fights out there...and thats what i like in a fighter NO FEAR all go no quit like what hatton, pac, cotto, mosely have showed in their careers those are the top guys out there for takin the tough fights and showing a true warriors instinct

I been a member of this site for along time, I mostly read what everyone here writes, and some of ya are real funny. But I wanted to tell ya that I'm a big Cotto fan, and Manny, but bigger fan of Cotto because I'm Puerto Rican, but that's not the only reason, because I hate Camacho Jr and was rotting for Santos to get knocked out by Foreman, and Into supporting my PRican comrades who come in to fight and give me my money's worth that I work hard for. Like Tito Trinidad and Cotto, they come to fight and never ducked anyone and leave everything in the ring, and NEVER HAVE EXCUSES on why they lost. Bitches like Cintron I hate. And it hurt me to see Cotto busted up by my other favorite fighter, Manny all action Paquiao, I been watching him since he started carving out Mexican's down below at 126. And what I wanted to see was Cotto fight Floyd, but not now, I have to say that Cotto is finished. Of coures he can fight and still make millions, but he trully isn't the same, I wont even say is Margarito's fault, I think it was all stacking on him since the wars he had with Torres going on up. everything just caught up to him, he has no stamina in this fight, and he faded in the Margo fight also. I have no excuses on why he lost, Manny was just amazing, but I still have to point out what I saw, I saw Manny nice and loose, and energize and looked like a young kid who wakes up in the morning and jumps off of the bed ready to get rid of all that energy he has, and Cotto looked nice and crisp in the first round, then he got caught and his legs where gone. I do have to say that his corner is trash, I mean if ya don't know spanish, at one point his trainer told him, to just do him and like do w/e you think is best, something like that, that was during like round 8 or 9. and I was stunned, Cotto didn't even go to the body. he did in the early rounds. but then he stopped. Of coures due to Manny being Manny, but there where openings in the fight where Cotto could've thrown it and maybe slow down Manny. I have boxed before and a body shot paralyzes you for some time. it just takes your wind and stings your lungs. and you slow down to let the pain go away. i think anyone can take a good head shot. Anyways I'm happy and sad at the same time because I hate it when my two favorite fighters fight eachother and one of them loses, not only that, but is more like Manny finished Cotto off for good. The only way I see Cotto coming back to his old self, is to take the whole 2010 year off, get Stewart to be his trainer, cause I seen Stewart ressurrect Wlad's career and everytime he talks on HBO he just makes sense all the time, and the most important thing, is that He wants to train Cotto, and Stewart only likes to train stars and that says something there. Anyway Manny, cong**** and get the Floyd fight and trash him up real bad. I can't wait to see that fight.

unfortunately it was manny who gave hell of body shots to cotto from the early rounds thats why cotto was soft in the later rounds.

while i disagree with you on this one i can see where youre comin from...i personally thing that floyd shoulda KO'd jmm to make at least some sort of statement but i really dont think this fight will happen

trust me it will happen there is to much money to say no they will end up working something out i actully wouldn't be surprised if they were already behind the scenes working on something becuase that is the fight HBO wants and the people want so it will happen HBO will just keep throwing more money out there and sooner or later someone will give in and after tonight i know HBO is ready to do whatever it takes to make the fight a reality

My sincere and deepest congratulations to Manny Pacquiao. As a Cotto fan I have always said the even though I favored Cotto I also said that Pacman had a really good chance to win and I defended that stans against those who were claiming that Pacman was to small. However I never expected the a outcome, more less the beaten and show that Pacman provided tonight. There should be no excuses other than that Pacman is a better fighter. Cotto was in great shape the 145 lbs was no excuse and neither the corner. No corner whether it would be Emmanuel Stuart or Freddie Roach himself, would had an answer for what happened today.

Today Pacman took and walked thru punches from one of the hardest hitting WW in the sport and just kept coming.

Once again my sincere Congratulations to Manny, all the Phillippine community and boxing itself, because Manny just porved that he is Boxing's most precious ans valuable asset of the sport.

To be honest, Pacquiao is on top of the game, MUCH props for him, he did what other ppl couldnt do to Cotto, maybe he picked the right time. I AM NOT TAKING ANYTHING AWAY FROM HIM BUT IF he was that good, why the hell didnt they make the fight in full 147?? Was the difference that big? or what was it?
