Pac would be a nightmare for Floyd. Pac has enough speed and vision to hit him from more angles than he has ever seen.

Pac has fast footwork, faster than Hatton and hatton closed him down very well. However Hatton didn't have the ability to hit him.

Pac would not respect his power and chase him down.

Ofocurse Pac had trouble to catch Cotto, anyone who is on the back foot and doesn't throw is hard to hit.

I hope it happeans, it would be a very interesting fight I still think that Floyd presents a lot of stylist issues but really this is the fight that needs to take place.

Pac's style plays perfectly into what Mayweather's best at, which is counter-punching. Also, Mayweather's not old/damaged.

So true when cotto was patient he was actually leading the fight and frustrating manny but he made the mistake of becoming over confident and took the 1st knock down even though it was more about him losing his balance than manny punch.

But i would say that pacquaio could beat mayweather no doubt but will i doubt it if mayweather is patient and don't make it a brawl and frustrate pacquiao by actually landing a lot at the start of the fight wich would then make manny have to come forward wich is when floyd is at his countering best and he would be able to pick manny apart for a decision to play it safe or a tko if manny is too tired from chasing him,

I say this because the 2 fighters that defeated and trouble manny were counter punchers in morales and marquez but none of them have floyd defence, hand speed and ring no how.

I am sure this fight will happen and that floyd and his dad and uncle would watch all the tapes on manny, study them and find the right formula to beating him, manny is quick but so is floyd, what makes him so good is the fact that he throws so may punches that sooner of later they luckily land or his opponents get discouraged of throwing themselves wich i cannot see floyd do,he has seen it all, come zab judah was quicker than manny and floyd adjusted in their fight, manny only throws more punches.

But we all saw cotto completely discouraged to throw anything so floyd actually make manny think twice about letting go,to me manny downfall will be his aggressiveness he pretty much comes forward no matter even though he did go back to catch miguel tonight so it is all down to floyd to come with the perfect plan to beat and if floyd is 100% i know he will .

But well done manny you certainly put on a good show tonight.

Hatton didnt close him down very well. He just smothered Floyd all night. Thats different and there is nothing you can really do about that, e****ally the way Hatton was doing it. Hatton's own corner and Manny Steward said during the fight that Hatton is so close that he's not only smothering Floyd's punches but he's smothering his own. He did that because he knew everytime there was any distance, Floyd always killed him.

I also think everyone is so wrong if they think Pac is going to have to chase Floyd down. I think Floyd goes on the Offense alot in this fight and spends alot of time actually walking Pac down. Thats the way he fights Southpaws and he wont physically fear him like he does the huge WW's. No way Floyd runs from Pac, no way. I also think its so funny how people think Floyd cant go toe to toe with Pac. Toe to toe isnt just about power. Its also about skill. Floyd is a beast inside fighter and pocket fighter. He knows how to pick off shots and fire back with head snapping blows

I want this fight now more than ever. But I dont know.... No matter how many times Manny has shocked the **** out of me, I feel Mayweather would make it an ugly and boring fight with him winning a decision. But I could be wrong and that would really please me.

hatton didnt smother floyd b/c floyd was ripping hatton to the body while in hattons guard(when hatton was smothering him.)

agreed. people seem to forget that May pushs people off of him and walks them down. he even did it with DLH

Lolz at these ****** Mayweather fans. As I said before Pac will beat Cotto in a 1 sided fight. It's not even funny hyping Mayweather right now. Mayweather is a bum and never took risks at 147.

Pac will beat Mayweather in 5 rounds. Stop hyping Mayweather. As I said even with Hatton and Cotto before, It's not even funny.

Mayweather/Pac is a true pick 'em fight. I would set the odds almost even, maybe Floyd a 1.5/1 favorite.
