If the Pac Fight Doesn't Sell More PPV than the Floyd - Marquez fight than I will personally beat the chite out of everyone who claims to be a fight fan.

It's suppose to sell more and it will; watch. Cotto vs. Pacquiao is seen as competitive where as Marquez vs. Mayweather wasn't and Cotto vs. Pacquiao isn't going against UFC. Fire Power will do 1.2Mill+ and I'm willing to bet 200K on that.Comment

There's no way Pac-Cotto will not beat PBF-JMM's 1M PPV buys. All the writing's on the wall here:I don't know how mainstream boxing fans that recognize Mayweather and buy his "lackluster" fights would not know about the upcoming Pacquiao-Cotto bout and not have interest in it.
This fight needs more PPV so that the winner will have leverage over That MAyweather character who robs fans of their hard earned cash.

- Internet is abuzzed with news and discussions of this fight.
- Highly covered by press by media giants like Time, NY Times, Wall Street Journal, ESPN, SI, etc.
- Good 24/7 HBO episode ratings
- Record breaking attendance at the weigh-in and media workout (at least for Pac)
- Pac's on Time Mag cover & receiving Gusi humanitarian prize award
- Pac successfull appearance at Jimmy Kimmel live
- Fight announcement at NY Yankee stadium on national TV to appeal to casual fans
If this doesn't break 1M PPV, then I agree that a "villain" role must be the missing inggredient in all of these and I'd say PBF is not dumb after all.Comment
