    Good luck with that. That's like trying to get Mexicans to admit Puerto Ricans are better or the other way around. It ain't happening.

        If Cotto loses the only thing you'll hear from me but praises for Pac. In the lead up to this fight I have said nothing demeaning of Pac or anything he has done in the ring. I think Pac is a great fighter but he's going to get beat by Cotto.

        I don't expect others to do the same if Cotto wins. Many of the posters here have some kind of agenda against some fighters and no matter what they do they will always look for a way to **** on that fighter. Case and point bully or Iceta, I have never heard them say something remotely positive about Cotto and don't expect them to start now.

          he goes down 2 pounds and gains about 10 overnight, no biggie, he's gonna come in at 156 anyway

            It's putting a limit on Cotto, which is bull**** in my view. If it's for a welterweight title, both guys absolutely have to be allowed to weigh up to 147 the day before the fight. That didn't happen.

            Like I said, I think Pacquiao could beat him at 147, but how will we ever know? This fight sure as hell won't tell us. 1 pound can mean everything in this sport, we all know that.

                By a country mile, that's why if Tito where to fight today he'll would be making 15 million dollars while Hopkins would be lucky if he made more than 3.

                  I agree, there's something about that 145 weight limit that rubs me the wrong way too.

                    @145

                    Don't claim a fight is happening at a weight when it's not happening at that weight, thug.

                      where'd you hear that? seriously, in no way shape or form does gaining or losing 1 pound will affect you, infact losing it will just make you feel a bit lighter, gaining will give you a feel of more power

                      if a fighter loses and you sayin ''bull****, he had to lose 1 pound to make weight, he was obviously drained'' is a really bad excuse
                      and the only reason that fighter lost is because the guy in the ring with him was better that night
