He wanted to fight Cunningham again on HBO or Showtime, but neither would approve of it. Adamek wouldn't make much money unless it was televised.

HBO and Showtime executives were *******s to refuse to show Adamek-Cunningham, since the first fight was one of the best of 2009, while they showed boring fights like Dawson-Tarver II.

Tomasz is looking for some decent paydays to retire on, that's why he moved up to heavyweight. But he's too small for that weight division, he should move back down and try to get some bigger fights in Europe.

Yea you're right about that I don't know why they wouldn't take that fight knowing it would be far better than some of the fights they had shown.
But it wasn't involving one of their fighters.

You need to remember this is also a job and the fighter is always going to go where the most money is.

no, he wanted that all-polish clash for good money. i think he might stay at heavy weight because there is more money in that weight for sure. i dont think he would have problems fighting at cruiser tho if the right money comes.

There's just so much more money available at HW. Any cruiserweight with the ability and physique to make a splash will move up as soon as they can.

                Roll on Adamek v. Haye!
