It did indeed seem rather unnecessary, other than to highlight one line the nnarrator said. I don't honestly think it interfered with the quality or flow of the episode, but that's just me.

I work with 11-18 year olds for a living so I deal with immaturity all day long, it's jsut sad to see it when I get some down-time on a weekend! haha.
