Since I have been saying it for months what did you expect. Rather thoughtful analysis if you would tale 2 mins to read it.

Na, these 2 guys are going to come out swinging you just watch...I have been saying this all along.. they are going to want to establish their dominance as quickly as possible..

yea they will measure each other out but once they start swinging it will be on..

I see them settling down in the 3 or 4 round.. only to pick back up on the 7 or 8 by the 10th cotto wins via TKO.

In light of tomorrow nights much anticipated fight I thought it would be sensible for me to break down how I think the fight will play out. In the early rounds I think it will be a seesaw back and fourth battle. Both men will have their moments early. I see a very tentative first round both men will land a shot here and there, and Pacquiao might do a little more. Both men will have respect for the others power. I expect things to heat up in around the third round, with manny looking much faster, occasionally hopping in and landing a flurry of hard shots on cotto. While cotto will be getting hit more I expect him to really make his shots count. I think Pacquiao will get caught with a right after landing a 4 punch combo and will get cut in around the 4th round. Cotto will look good early.

After this cotto will do a little better for the next two rounds until Pacquiao gets used to the cut. In the sixth is when things will really heat up. Pacquiao will crank up his workrate all the while moving his head frustrating the hell out of Cotto who has been accustomed to fighting stationary fighters as of late (margarito, clottey, ect). From this point on what has been a very close fight will start to go in pacs favor with the rounds becoming wider and wider in his favor. I expect a bad cut to open up on Cotto at around the 8th and manny will start really making his shots count, sitting down on his punches. In around the 8th manny will wobble cotto due to the accumulation of shots, and manny will get reckless attempting to end the show. This is when cotto will be most dangerous, and will land some of his most meaningful shots, and I see him badly hurting pacquiao or possibly dropping an off balance pacquaio. Pacquiao will get up and cotto having a sense of urgency will rush in, and could possibly get hurt himself, which I think will happen.

In the 9th pacquiao will go back to what was working, and at this point I believe it will be a Pacquiao highlight reel. Cotto will be a bloody mess at this point, and will be tired due to the amount of punches thrown. He will show that he has a respectable chin in this round taking flush shot after flush shot while landing a few in between. The 9th will be Pacquiaos first 10-8 round and at this point he will be above in the fight 6-3 or 5-4. Kenny Bayless will ask his corner if he wants to continue and Cotto and his corner will say yes. In the tenth, a vexed Pacquiao will come out and Cotto will exchange, but at this point his shots will have lost steam. He will backpeddal, but due to his level of fatigue, Manny and his in and out movement will be too much. The accumulation will have reached its peak, and Cotto will be wobbled and and dropped in the 10th. He will get up and signal he can continue. Manny Pacquiao will then back Miguel into a corner and unload until Cotto slumps into the corner, and Bayless will step in waving the fight off. Pacquiao will be declared the new WBO welter weight chamo, in a real fight where he will take damage in.
              OR the other way around
