we cant say its a good thing or bad thing, as cotto may be in the best shape of his life, or in the other hand he could of overtrained and tired himself out, and with a inexperienced trainer that could be a the case.
Santiago is inexperence as a head trainer he's been with cottos camp since cotto rise to fame as his nutrionist initially and phil landsman is a well known as a great conditioning coach in the the sport and has been in cottos camp since cotto was a welterweight so I doubt over training would be the case with team cotto

They might have done Cotto a favor with the catchweight, he's ripped.

Cotto is looking strong and in shape. Pac is looking ripped too but
the mid section is looking a lil tender. Seems like they tried to get
him a lil more meat in his stomach perhaps to protect it against
body punches but his stomach doesn't look that firm. If Pac beats
Cotto tomorrow then I will give him full props but Cotto looks like he's
                ready for anything.

Pac as usual will rehydrate only to 148, like in DLH and Hatton fight.

I'm just really noticing that Cotto is looking bigger and stronger
than Pacquiao. I think this is the best shape Cotto's been in.
