    More About PBF V.S. Gatti.

    Ok. Said the detective:

Explain "exactly how" Gatti is going to pull an upset win over Mayweather. Is that possible? Does he have the lateral movement and defense necessary to avoid PBF's flurries? Will Floyd NOT strafe, and completely chop Gatti down in his blindspots with lateral movement? Is Gatti a threat to an A class fighter like Floyd? What were you thinking convict. This aint close. This is a nightmare, and If I were you I would leave town. Gatti might file a civil suit for "Jock-Knocking" against his defenders. Do you, or Gatti, have anything to say for yourselves before facing the judge?

    ok

    Ok, I'll play devil's advocate.

Gatti has a chance. Floyd could get careless, underestimate Gatti after having success early in the fight. He will look to get into exchanges and without thinking about defense enough, he gets caught with a devastating shot that leaves fans calling him "bum" after having an official loss on his record, by KO no less, to Arturo "Thunder" Gatti.

This is boxing, and MUCH crazier things have happened.

Your right ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN IN BOXING, but I think Floyd will be careful not to get hit by Gatti especially in the early rounds.

PBF V.S. Emanuel Burton was awesome. Floyd showed exactly why he is so good. He can do it all. He can play possum, and has a decent chin, showed some heart by taking some flush shots from a game opponent, and still was fighting masterfully. He holds wins over Castillo, who I think is one of the best fighters as well. He is unstoppable, and borderline ridiculous when it comes to pure boxing ability. He will give everyone trouble that he faces. I dont care if it is Tszyu, or the winner of Castillo/Corrales, Hatton, Witter, Judah, DLH, etc. You name it. Everyone is an underdog against him as far as I am concerned. For those of you who have not seen that fight. Please do. The Burton fight that is. There should be seeders in the downloads section.

After just recently going back and watching some mayweather fights I think the only way gatti has a chance is if he wrestles with mayweather, throws body shots to slow him down and then try and get him in the corner of the ring against the ropes and work the body more. He has a good blueprint with the castillo fight. I just don't know if gatti is going to be able to deal with mayweathers hand speed, mayweather has the ability to keep him on the edge of his jab and box him all day in the middle of the ring.

Even if Gatti goes for the body, he will leave himself WIDE OPEN for counters and we all know how good of a counterpuncher Mayweather is.

                hmm

Even if Floyd fought De La Hoya today, he'd still be the underdog, and rightfully so, no matter who thinks Floyd is better.

De La Hoya has proven himself in the ring with beasts of a whole different breed than what Mayweather has been in with. De La Hoya would wax Castillo and Burton. Of course, De La Hoya's chance of losing comes in the possibility that he may not be able to make 147 lbs anymore.

As far as Burton goes, he is/was a pretty decent fighter. However, Gatti is bigger and has more power than Burton does. This may or may not be a factor. Time will tell.

                  .
I know exactly whom De La Hoya has faced and beat. I know how good he is as a fighter. I also know that right now, PBF is arguably the best fighter on the planet. At any weight. DLH is far past his prime as a fighter IMO-- in direct comparison to Floyd. It would be Whittaker/De La Hoya all over again. Except PBF would look fifty times as impressive. Simply chopping wood on the slower DLH.

I dont think PBF would be "robbed" either.

PBF is fast. Gatti is strong. PBF has skills. Gatti has toughness.

This fight is going to be entertaining, no matter who wins. And although I don't think Gatti can win, he definitly won't go down.
