Oh, and to those who get their panties bunched about 'slagging' hatton need to clear their minds and see things for what they are. hatton has NEVER wanted to face top competition unless there was some angle he could exploit to increase his chances of winning. The p4p thing is his holy grail, but he cannot attain it...ever. His showing against Mayweather looked boring until he got knocked out by a turn buckle, courtesy of a check hook. His showing against Manny was abysmal. Excuses abound. Now he thinks that he is going to take a fight to Cotto...but ONLY if Cotto is the victor and, by his words, 'the Pound for Pound King'?

Cotto is my favorite fighter and even *I* don't think he will get p4p king if he beats Pacquiao. Just because hatton thinks it works that way does not make it so. He is pulling a fox news, george bush election 'victory' stunt (or trying to do so).

I completely agree with you. Marquez-Hatton is a perfect fight. Cotto on the other hand, not only does Hatton have to earn this fight. But he would get knocked right out.

When will Hatton understand that beating the p4p #1 dosen't automatically make you number one? First it was "I will challenge for the p4p belt, bet your house" now it is "I will fight Cotto if he beats Pac and becomes knew p4p king"
