I hope he kicks ass! in later fights he's really got the feints down slick head movement great defense! The only think i would say is he likes to get a lil loopy with his punches and need to perfect that jab! you should check out Lamont Peterson also beast! he's a lil technical but good all round.

Actually that is one of my only worries regarding Matvey's career. I think Western trainers and Eurasian fighters tend to be incompatible and it's usually detremental to the fighter. (Tszyu, Jirov, Darchinyan, Adamek)

I remember hearing someone say that Korobov and Birmingham actually split and that Matvey's father took over as his trainer? Anyone know if this is true or not?

I'd much rather see him with his amateur trainer if it was possible.

Bleh JCC Jr is looking better, the guy is younger than Korobov and his "Pro" fights is basically his amateur career, making a fortune out of people "willing" to pay for his PPVs... why knock on JCC Jr? Knock on the people actually buying his PPVs....
