Retiring makes no sense if he's still prime or even slightly past it.

Pacquiao should fight the unified welterweight champ and #1 welterweight Shane Mosley if he can get past those 2.

He wouldn't be regarded as the GOAT if he did that...

He would have to pretty much clean out 147 and **** **** up at 154 for that kind of talk IMO...

And even still boxing historians would prob refuse to put someone over Robinson, Ali, or Armstrong...

Interesting votes on the poll. Most of us Pacquiao sack surfers said go to 154.

Williams has closing in on 20 inches in wingspan.

Williams started out, technically at 160 pounds. Manny started out about 50 pounds lighter.

Williams is over 6 feet tall. Manny is somewhere around 5 feet and a half.

Williams got beat by Quintana, who is actually BIGGER then Manny. And Williams also completely erased that within a round in a rematch.

Williams gained power by moving up to 154 and 160. Manny has essentially only been able to carry MOST power up to 140. If Williams had hit De La Hoya with the shots Manny did, Oscar would have been dropped.

I love Manny Pacquiao as a fighter and human being. I prefer him overall to Williams, pound for pound. And HE COULD beat Williams. But I'd bet my house on him losing in that fight. And by stoppage.
Im a huge Williams fan and I think the Quintana win is more legit than the Williams win. Even in that one round Quintana was still catching him some and thats why you dont see Williams looking to have that 3rd fight and the media lets him get away with it.

IDK how everyone can keep saying that Pac didnt carry his power to WW. 1st of all that was his 1st fight and he looks definatly bigger & stronger this time around as he's been up near this weight for awhile now and not just jumping straight from LW. 2nd of all they stopped the Oscar fight early. How do people know that he wouldnt have stopped him naturaly? Also, when has Oscar been known to be chinny and so easy to take out. Pac was hitting Oscar but he also want full force with it because he respected Oscar's size so he was always looking to just connect and move out. He wasnt fully commiting to the shots. I also dont think he hit Oscar that many times clean with power shots. After Oscar knew he was done he started to cover up alot so its not like he just got a ton of clean shots with full force in them. Again, I think Pac is much bigger & stronger than people keep giving him credit for. I also saw Williams hit Margarito with everything and Margairto walked through that like nothing but Mosley went through Margarito in no time and really hurt him with everything so how great is his power?

Again, Im not saying Pac wins. Pac might get killed in one round but dont tell me that he has no chance of beating Williams and I dont mean the same kind of chance that anyone else has. I mean he does have a legit chance. Even the Southpaw Mitchell was landing cleanly on Williams before he got stopped. He's tall but he's always coming forward and leaning over so he takes his height away most of the time. If he's bending over and coming forward to hit Pac, then if Pac swings a big left he is going to connect nearly every time just like Quintana did. I wouldnt even be shocked to see Martinez do that even though I dont think as highly of him as others

Never said he didn't have a chance. I have a chance. But we'd both lose.

He should retire. Co-sign. No use being fighter of the century and end up like ali or roach.

Thats why I put that last line in there about me meaning he has a real legit chance and not just some ordinary chance or a punchers chance. This guy is the #1 P4P guy in the sport and Williams lost to Quintana who just so happeneds to be a Southpaw who Pac is 10x better than. Im not one of those guys at all who says just because A beats B means that C can beat B also. I dont live by that code but this one is different and legit. I could see if Williams loss was to a MW, I could see if Williams got caught by a single punch, I could see if Williams lost to a top P4P guy but its the exact opposite in every case. He lost at Pac's weight to a guy who is solid but nothing special, and he got beat convincingly over 12 legit rounds. It wasnt a fluke. Dont tell me that Pac doesnt have a real chance to win "if" he beats top guys who are big and skillful like Cotto & Floyd and e****aly if he was to beat Mosley aftewards
