Because they all watched Cotto vs. Clottey. Imagine Cotto comes in looking as good as he did against Shane, THAT Cotto was a different monster. Expect the unexpected, I'm not overlooking either.

Yep. Manny was at ringside for the clottey fight. Picked Cotto soon thereafter.

I hope Cotto won't be hurt bad, though. I got news saying he trained himself for the fight and had little input from his newbie trainer.

stylistically, cotto will have more problems with pacquiao than pacquiao with cotto. if you watch boxing, you'd understand.

Because boxing is a "what have you done for me lately" sport. The last fight you have resonates in peoples minds. Paquiao, as always, was exciting in his KO of Hatton while Cotto was less then stellar in his close win over Clottey.

Everything Is Everything man. Pac Is the Man right now in most peoples minds and the odds reflect that.

Because Vegas opens a bet at certain odds, I live here in town and can tell you it opened at +180 for Cotto, so he was almost a 2 to 1 underdog. Once that comes out its totally in the public's hands as to where it goes from there. The more people put money on Pacman, the wider the margin gets. People in general saw Manny's last two match up as being invincible, while Cotto showed a lot of vulnerability. The fact is, its the public making the odds and no one else, and Vegas tries to match what the public will go with to maximum how much money they can make.
