What does Tito gain out of beating Winky?

Will he gain respect from all boxing fans or will this be something else they can hate on?

If he beats Winky convincingly will he then deserve a rematch with Hopkins?

Whether or not Trinidad beats him or not, all fans would be called "nuthuggers" etc and everyone will say trinidad has no skill. I dont understand why people do this though.

Nothing at all. Face it: he's gotta beat Hopkins to be the top Middleweight. There's no one else with a household name he will beat to further his legacy. If he waits, he may beat an aged Hopkins in the next few years though...

Exactly It's like Winky just some Tune-up kinda match

I give Winky a good chance to Beat Trinidad. What can you expect from these ignorant PRs who think Trinidad is indistructable there as bad as Tyson or RJJ fans. I say winky would have a hellva chance at whoopin Felix

If you are campaigning at middleweight and your goal is to be the king of the division than Hopkins is the only man that can help you out. Tito could be daring and go after Lacy or JErmain Taylor...this would be fun too see, but your right what does he gain by fighting Winky Wright? Looks like too big a risk for little reward...Tito-if you are a middleweight than fight middleweights...the only exception you should make would be Oscar...1)for the enormous payday 2)most think you were outclassed in the first fight and only won because Oscar's fight plan turned into a flight plan. I don't think it's a tune up fight at all, but I wouldn't go as far as you did and say Winky has a good chance. His chance of beating Tito is slim. He has good defense and a good jab, but not good enough to keep Tito off. So what makes you so sure that Winky can whoop Tito's ass?

Of course Wright has a chance...but Tito would likely win. You can't compare his punches to Mosley's, and Wright's jab wouldn't be enough to keep Tito back. I see Tito hooking and jab straight through Wright's defense...even though he has some solid D. I would like to see the fight though, because Wright deserves it, and Tito already told Wright awhile ago that he'd give him the chance at 160.

There's always DLH vs Wright, winner takes Tito...

What makes you so sure Tito can whoop Winks ass? Titos defense aint that great. Winkys is and His offense aint that shabby. Tito has power over Wright but IMO thats about all. I say Wright could take him apart. We will see though. But I can see another Tito/B-Hop type of fight! You just made it seem like a forgone conclusion that Trinidad wouldwin when in all likelyhood Winky would probably come out on top! But I doubt this fight happens But For winky's sake I hope it does cuase win or Lose he Deserves a huge PPv event
