Did Hatton Deserve To Earn As Much As He Did?

Tszyu...he's not an animal menagerie.hatton earned the right to fight floyd when he beat kosta...everyone thought zoo could hang with floyd..so when ricky dusted him he became larger than life sort of like pac right now. but we all know ricky was overrated and fought an old zoo and he never had a chance against floyd.
but I wanted to see him get brutalized by floyd for all his fans talking like he could carry floyds jock strap..same goes for manny his fans are rising high talking mad **** but when floyd gets his ass in the ring we will be having these same polls asking was manny worthy of even fighting floyd amd we all know manny couldn't carry floyds jock strap.

The low blow was intentional and I wouldn't have had a problem if the referee decided to take a point. Bottom line is Hatton weathered the storm over an All-Time great fighter (Tszyu) as a heavy underdog and made him quit on his stool so the scoring didn't matter. I had Ricky up by 3 points going into the final round.Comment

Why all the Hatton hate guys? He was entertaining and nice fella to boot. A very decent boxer until mayweather ****ed him over. I cant understand all the hate

I don't like his two wins the ones I've seen! It was like watching a wrestling match. Of course Hatton is a nice man out of the ring, but he was boring for me to watch. I mean its so annoying to watch someone clinch and punch and dirty fight like that. If I enjoyed **** like that Calzaghe/Hopkins would be my favorite fight ever!

Fair enough. The guy wears his heart on his sleeve and made the most of his limited ability. He always gave 100% and throughly deserved everything he made.

Yeah its definitely a hard living, I've boxed in a big ass ring before and ppl don't know how hard it is to move around in that ring when you get tired. The ring is a giant playground, its one hell of a workout though.Comment

Hatton deserved more, imo. His exciting fighting style woke up a lot of UK fans, and he has been a big part in keeping boxing alive in the last couple of years. Don't believe me?
2007: Mayweather vs Hatton 900k US PPVs sold and 1.1Mill UK PPV's sold. That is 2Mill PPVs sold worldwide with one fight.
2009: Pacquiao vs Hatton 800k US PPVs sold.
Almost 3Million PPVs sold worldwide with just two fights. It might not have been him alone, obviously, but it takes two to tango and you better believe Hatton and his fans had a lot to do with the total revenue that those 2 fights made. Bringing in 15k fans BY YOURSELF, is not an easy task.
Hatton deserved every single penny that he earned, and much more.Comment
