I put a little bit of money on the fight, wondering what the consensus was here on who would win.

Soto-Karass is gonna wreck Gomez IMO...

Gomez isn't anything special..Karass is more naturally talented and a pretty big dude with a solid punch..I've only seen them both a handful of times..but with what I've seen I see Karass winning either by WIDE UD or T/KO later in the fight...

gomez will win......more skilled, not that it matters but he has beat karass' ass in sparring before......gave him a black eye and an ass kicking according to karass himself....

karass uses plaster......thats why he is so inconsistent......if gomez' people discover the plaster in time, gomez wins...

Not that it matters, but gomez outclassed and stopped(though a bit of a quick stoppage) carson jones........karass got a very controversial decision.....

Karass is pretty one dimensional imo, he gets hit a lot and went life and death in his last fight. I heard Gomez is in great shape for this fight so I took the odds at +135 for Gomez, I think Alfonso is the bigger dude since he was fighting middle/super middleweights on the contender.

Guess we'll have to see what happens.
