Cotto fought hard and lost against Margarito.

If you're thinking adversity, Pac had lots of them even before he got a boost. Training without shoes and nutrition is one of them. The wars against Morales and Marquez were not as hard.

Manny was the heavy underdog during barrera 1...MOST people expected him to lose...If that's not adversity then what is..

Manny lived through adversity since he was a kid....He's not the typical boxer who comes from a well off family....He became a boxer to get out of poverty....

Just because youre the underdog means what? That just means they got it wrong, Bhop was underdog in many fights. Im talking situations like Cotto had against Torres, Margarito, that type thing, like I said its a testament to Manny's ability he hasnt been in those situations, no knock on him, but how will he deal with being out on his feet against Cotto? How will his gameplan change once he is hit hard to the body and head.

Pac dominated his last 3. Ain't like he never had tough fights.

this doesn't matter... what matters is that cotto will outweigh pac by 10+ lbs on fight night.

How much you think Shane would outweight Floyd on fight night?

Fighters who are a level above the rest of the competition don't usually get as battle-worn or tested. It's the same for Floyd. Being such a skilled fighter, rarely is anyone actually good enough to compete, so he makes it look easy most of the time.

One thing is for sure -- Pacquiao is more experienced than Cotto. He's had a good number of fights more than Miguel, seeing as it's his 55th coming up. It's a wonder he's better than he's ever been. Miguel has good experience too, but "only" 35 fights so far.

If a complete rookie outweighs a good, experienced fighter by 10 pounds, who is likely to win?
