Hey if Pac wins, kudos to him but WOW! I am appalled to say the least at the utter disrespect Team Pacquaio is showing Cotto…. Why plan a “victory party” before a big fight such as this? It wouldn’t be so bad if it was just a “post fight concert”…or a “thank you” to his fans for the support (even though there is a cover charge)..But a “victory party”? That in my opinion goes beyond being confident....that’s ARROGANCE, plain and simple. So much for Pac’s “humility”…
This is not a weight-drained-past-his-prime De La Hoya..nor is it “look-mum-no-defense!” Ricky Hatton…and certainly NOT “I’m-a-nice-guy-but-go-ahead-and-kick-my-ass-anyway” David Diaz…this is MIGUEL M*THER****IN’ COTTO! Even though he lost (questionably, now) vs Marg, he was winning VERY handily the first half of the fight and lasted ELEVEN….Count’em, ELEVEN rounds with someone who (more than likely) had LOADED gloves! Need I remind Pac-fans that even Roach himself clearly stated (after the DLH fight) that they weren’t ****** enough to face Marg?! Yet Cotto had the HUEVOS to do so AND gave him a hell of a fight in the process! This is the same Cotto who beat Sugar Shane, whipped Judah and fought THROUGH HELL to ultimately beat CLOTTEY (who would make a tough fight for ANYONE)
WAKE UP PEOPLE! Pacquiao is fighting a REAL Welter-Weight for the FIRST TIME IN HIS LIFE. And not just ANY WW, THIS IS A PRIME, AT HIS NATURAL WEIGHT,MIGUEL COTTO…THIS WILL NOT BE A ONE SIDED ODLH BEAT DOWN BECAUSE MIGUEL COTTO IS NOT CANNON FODDER. HE WILL NOT JUST STAND THERE A-LA-DLH. He WILL HIT BACK, and he will hit back HARD!
