Main factor in this fight: Manny's ability to take true WW power and keep going. Manny's defense IMO is highly overrated. The dude gets hit when he exchanges.
EVERYONE gets hit when they exchange.

even duran who had great defense while on the offensive got hit when he's exchanging.

that's why guys who don't like to get hit pop shot and barely throw any combos.

Cotto's stamina is a non-factor in this fight (in my opinion). Cotto generally does his best work in the middle rounds (4-7) of his fights. I believe he will stop Pacquiao somewhere in there, likely in the 7th or 8th.

The biggest factor will be Pacquiao's movement and defense. If Pacquiao is able to take away Miguel's body work by moving out of range consistently he'll really increase his chances of winning.

I do think Cotto will damage Pacquiao significantly in those middle rounds though.

      Quintana
      Mosley
      Gomez
      Torres
      Clottey

He seems to pick up his opponents rhythm around the 4th or 5th and becomes punishing at that point. His best work in the Clottey fight came in round 6. He forced Mosley to change his approach because of the brutal shots he landed in 5 and 6. Quintana was brutalized in rounds 4 and 5. Gomez as well.

We'll see. There are a lot of interesting factors in this fight. It'll be a great one.

i agree cotto can potentially controll large parts of this fight with his jab and use it as a solid base to set up his body work and other power punches
