Evangelista Cotto: "Miguel should win before the 8th"

¨Miguel should win before the 8th¨.

¨Miguel should win. He is too strong for Manny. Miguel is a natural 147 pounder with lots of resources. If he is well prepared and works on Pacquiao´s body from the start, I am sure he will end the fight before the 8th¨.

¨I have seen some Pacquiao´s fights, and the two times he´s been KO´ed, his opponents have worked the body. I don´t believe he can take Miguel´s power. It´s different than to fight De la Hoya, or Hatton, who had taken a beating¨.

¨People talk about Joe´s inexperience, but they forget that he has been working for a lot of time and knows how to work in the line of fire. I think he will be fine.¨.

Would you have liked to be in Miguel´s corner for the fight?

Definitely, but things happen, only God knows why. I can only wish him good luck.

this was the same logic floyd sr used when he was training Hatton. Santiago is probably studying up torrecamp and singsurat, cotto will try to emualate their greatness.

He better. The further this fight goes the worse it will be for Cotto's chances.
