Too much "Negativity" lately..

-Yes, the Pac-Cotto fight is coming up very shortly and we are all very excited for a mega fight we all wanted to see. I know that before every big fight the fans start to get a bit crazy in here and negative towards the other fighter. I don't understand how anyone can hate fighters like Pacquiao and Cotto, two stars willing to give the fans a great fight they want to see. Both are gentlemen and they don't disrespect each other. I see many people saying "Pacquiao is a 106 pounder on roids, lol! Cotto ko rnd 3!" or "Cotto will get Hatton'd by a flyweight, ROFL!" lol. As you can tell by my sig I am picking Pacman but you don't see me disrespecting Cotto or his fans around here, I respect Cotto and always have for giving us great fights.

-All I'm trying to say is, can we just relax with the Negativity and just be thankful we are getting this fight? I'm excited like hell for this saturday,

I'm not surprised, it has been going on for a long time before big fights and that's normal, we are all excited but I just think people should be a bit less disrespectful to the "other fighter" lol, because you know how we can bump threads after fights and It's not pretty

It's internet nonsense. I bet all the disrespect going around would not be the same in person. You would never see someone trying to insult Cotto or Pacquiao face to face. I also wish things were more in control and that racial nonsense was left out of this. After the fight, you might even see those going after each other being all "forum mates" again. This might be the internet but sometimes you can realize the way a person might be by the behavior they show, even if this is just for fun.

I agree. They can be critical of a fighter that they are skeptical of, without getting personal. I don't need to call Pacman a 'balut eating son of a' to point out that he has mainly made a name of beating Floyd's scraps, and robbing a noteworthy mexican.
