At this point its a great move for his career! He needs to prove to himself and everyone else that his hand is 100% and he can fight Williams in the spring. Williams is getting too much credit anyways. He's fighting in a 3500 seat ballroom

Stripping this ******* of the belts lol... jeez dude give it a break. He worked his whole life for those belts, do you think he's going to give them up that easy? cmon stop talking out of your ass. This is his career we are talking about. Pavlik did the right thing, not going further just yet with Williams is the best move for him period

I don't bash him for having physical problems like most on here but if Williams didn't want to give up the Dec 5 date and Pavlik wanted to fight later......i wish he could have at least fought a better opponent.....Are you going to tell me they couldn't have found someone better who wanted a world title shot?
