I try to be nice about it when people do this and point out that it can be done to any fighter.

Criticism is one thing but really looking at just negatives and cutting dudes down is not really valid criticism.

It would be nice to see some more positive outlooks on the sport.

If flimsy resumes are not picked apart a skilled fighter can fight nothing but over matched opposition and no one would no better and he can get a legacy he doesn't really deserve, so to those who do fair and neutral research thank you.

call me crazy but when someone starts picking a fighter's resume, i can hardly call that being neutral. nine times out of ten, when someone starts discrediting a boxer's wins that poster most like has a motive either to downplay the said boxer, to bring up some other fighter, get the fans of the said fighter pissed, or to try and soothe the poster's sense of bitterness over the said fighter.

being knowledgeable and informed doesn't excuse anyone from ****ting on someone's well-earned wins.

I agree with you, but Hopkins beat an undefeated Calslappy too! Hopkins acheivements are legendary mainly because of the tender age he is doing it at. Also, he moved up nearly 2 divisions himself so there goes your theory out of the window
