Its good but not bad after all since he is an offensive fighter. For his style his best defense is his offensive style.

His offense is he defense. The main reason why I'm favoring Manny even though Cotto is my boy is because he's never been turned like he's going to be on Nov 14. Manny is going to run around in circles throwing punches from unorthodox angles while Cotto tries to land that big left, but he'll never find Manny with it. Manny will have ducked under Cotto's right hand and there is gonna be nothing for the left to connect with.

As Roach has said before. Cotto is so flat footed, not exactly a ballerina in the ring, if you turn him he'll hit air since he's unable to change positions quickly. It'll be easy for Manny to take away Cotto's left. Manny has had to do it for his past 2 fights, so I'm sure he's confident in his ability to impose this strategy on Cotto.

It's very poor.It looks good against opponents without a working pulse, but the moment he does start fighting live opponents, then you will see him getting tagged consistently.

only guy who has timed him succesfully is JMM,and he still didnt do enough to win

He didn't do enough to win in the judges eyes, but most people who know how to actually score a fight, knows that Marquez got robbed.

I think his defense is good. I think it could be better if he wanted it to be. I have never doubted his ability to be a brilliant defensive fighter, he just chooses not to be, cause he's a hard mother****er!

It has improved but he's hittable. Roach has done a good job and he should continue to urge Manny to move in and out like he did vs. DLH. The problem is that this isn't DLH and Cotto will be more effective cutting off the ring I think.

Robbed? My ass! There's no such thing as a robbery in a close fight. Use the term correctly, at least.
