can anybody experienced here at boxingscene tell me how this rep power system works? when can i give red or green i don't understand!

You can give out red or green K when you actually have some rep power. Being in the red as you are right now, no matter if you try to give out red or green it will have no effect, you'll actually be giving out gray karma. It's pointless.

Red means you probably posted something someone didn't like. Green means you recieved good K because you wrote something respectable.

Example: If I come on here and start posting hateful messages about someone's skin color, their favorite fighter, or just something completely ******ed, I would expect to get red K for it.

You'll get green K for contributing to the boxing discussions here without being a ****. I'm not saying you have been a ****, but someone obviously doesn't like something you said. There are some major bitches here, they will red you for something seemingly insignificant. Maybe they don't like your avatar, or some silly **** like that. Yes, it's really that ******.

You know what I would do, if it really bothers you? Start a new account. Then be on your best behavior and don't post crap.


So, who hit you with red? You can find out easily by clicking the "User CP" link at the top left of the page. Go in there and come back and post their name. That will give us a good idea of why they have done it.

Yes. The higher the rep power, the more you go down and the harder it is to get back up. If you have 1 rep power, forget it. It doesn't do ****. If you have 21,000 rep power you can affect someone else's rep power massively.

The guys with high rep power (like 21K+) took advantage of the system that used to be in place here, where you could have multiple accounts and hit your main account repeatedly until it got to 21,000+. There was no limit. Everyone else now has to ask for help getting their rep up in the Green K threads.

I got red k because I said the Lakers might not win it if Gasol is not healthy and the Celtics will win it all. Someone didn't like what I said and red k me. lol
