Diaz stopped Santa Cruz, the man who beat Casamayor.

A 37 yr. old Casamayor is worse for Pac since critics have been crying about Pac fighting old fighters. Diaz was a young fresh Champion. Simple logic.
Juan Diaz was busy with Campbell BTW. DDiaz was the best choice.
