Bernard Hopkins says Manny Pacquiao is boxing's 'Bruce Lee', and will chop up Miguel Cotto.

The Pacman will bid for his seventh world title when he challenges for Cotto's WBO welterweight strap inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Once again Pacman will be naturally the smaller man, having already disposed of Oscar De La Hoya and Ricky Hatton in devastating fashion in the last 12 months.

But former undisputed middleweight king Hopkins says size really won't matter come fight night.

"Pacquiao is going to chop Cotto up. Out of respect, Cotto will get some rounds, but Manny is the Bruce Lee of boxing," said B-Hop.

"His basketball and martial arts background give him that speed and agility. You can't tell where his shots are coming from. Unlike Rocky, Bruce Lee was a real dude and so is Manny."

Another man picking Pacman to prevail on Saturday is Britain's former super-middeweight king Joe Calzaghe. He too believes speed and not size will the key to a fascinating match-up.

"I think Manny Pacquiao is going to be too quick for Cotto," said Calzaghe.

"I was ringside when Cotto fought Clottey. He seemed to struggle a bit in that fight and it is hard to say what he will do against a faster, quicker Pacquiao. I know people say Cotto is the bigger guy but I still think Pacquiao beats him in a decision."

Former heavyweight king Mike Tyson is also picking Pacquiao for another massive win, and doesn't believe Cotto will make it to the final bell.

He said: "I pick Manny Pacquiao by knockout. I think he will knock him out in 7 or 8. Manny just has too much for Cotto."
Cotto is the best speed neutraliser in boxing. He did that with Judah and Mosley ,those dudes are really fast and Manny will soon find out.
What's more Manny makes more mistakes than those two and Cotto will whoop his ass. There wont be all that room to run and fight,Manny will be forced into an inside fight.

What people dont realise is that Cotto is deceptively fast and his jab is one of the best in boxing. He uses it as a range finder (even though it can knock people down,ak Joshua Clottey about that) before he gives one to the body.If the going gets tough you know Cotto wont hesitate to hit the balls.

Manny can not win this fight,Miguel will always find a way to win

Hopkins never even watches Cotto or Pacquiao fights other then maybe the recent fights of theirs. I don't even think Hopkins watched Cotto vs Clottey, because all BHOP talks about is Cotto vs Marquez and they never even fought.

BH really rates Pac. I suppose because Pac possible handled DLH even better than he did up until the body shot he put DLH away with.

But can Pac handle being the favourite? People told Pac he couldnt beat DLH and also hatton to a degree, and he proved people wrong. What if people make Pac favourite? He might feel pressure to live up to peoples expectations!

Good comment about Bruce lee BH btw.
