Valuev Vows To Fight On, Wants Bigger Opponents

Former WBA heavyweight ex-champion Nikolay Valuev commented on his bout with David Haye. He admits that he can’t compete with the speed of cruiserweight boxers. Nikolay is tired of “small” opponents and wants to fight big ones. [details]

Julius Long is a little taller.

I'd like to see him fight the Klitschkos, Ustinov, or one of the big young heavyweights like Fury or Krull.

you talk **** about Haye saying Valuev isn't good etc, but you want him to fight the Klitschkos? Why would you want the Klitschkos to have easy fights?

Of course most of the fighters out there are too small for him. Evander isn't exactly a small heavyweight. He's 6,3 and around 220-225. So is Haye, 6,3. There are only the Klits that fit in Valuev's standards. Good luch to him in his future outings.

Valuev is slow as a snail, but he has a strong chin. He's been stunned and staggered in about four fights, but he's never been knocked down.

I always wanted him to fight a Klitschko so one of them will become the first to KO Valuev, to "fell the giant" like Haye promised he would do, but failed to deliver.

And it will be a more entertaining fight with a Klitschko, because they're strong and brave enough to not need to run from Nicolay!

Vitali ran from an overweight tit, he turned his back and did a short sprint to get away.

                Good post!

Either Klitschko would dominate and KO Valuev.

Vitali boxed but did not run. If you were not ******ed, you'd know the difference.

When you really run, you don't throw or connect with many punches. Even a small child would understand that.

Vitali threw 80 punches per round, Haye threw about 2 punches per round.
