I can't believe people are dissing JMM saying that he does not add up up to Morales or Barrera, that's ridiculous!! Last time I checked JMM was the only Mexican who didn't get KTFO by Pacquiao(MAB & EM) and beat by bums (MAB by khan & EM by David Diaz)

So JMM is a bum now for losing to a guy 2 divisions above him and didn't even get knocked out? JMM fought all 12 rounds against a guy bigger than him while EM and MAB were getting KTFO by guys their own size.

Not really. Juan Diaz was backing up JMM early on. And, then JMM to over with his accuracy and counting punching. I mean it was a great fight don't get me wrong. I still think is FOTY.

But, Morales-Barrera was on another level. It lasted the distance and was competitive from start to finish. And, they didn't like each other. It was like a real war inside that ring. Diaz-Marquez does not compare to Morales-Barrera.

JMM gets bashed for actually using his brain in fights rather than the usual walk straight to your opponents and using your face as a shield style almos every Mexican fighter uses.

barrera and morales were top 10 p4p ranked fighters since the mid to late 90's.

by the time jmm actually started doing anything , em and mab were on the downside of their careers.

Not many if any at all.

Hes obviously comparable, but due to various reasons, he falls just a bit short. Hes a great fighter in his own right, but lately hes been getting overrated a bit, most recently being the hype leading up to the Mayweather fight.

Hes career isn't even over, so theres still some time for him to do more.
