because while his resume isnt bad and would be considered a great run by an average fighter...boxing fans get pissed with floyd because he is overly cautious..he avoids fighters we believe he can not just beat but easily beat because that fighter will bring the best out in him...floyd is his own worst enemy..he has the talent but your gift can also be your curse..you will me measured on your own scale....just a though

        Kind of true.

He's just so disappointing. Because most people would favor him over all the guys we want to see him fight...we just wanna see him do it, and it's so ****ing frustrating that he refuses to fight anyone that has a chance to beat him nowadays.

Yes Larry. People dont hate Mayweather because they "pray 4 his downfall"

Everyone that hates mayweather acknowledges how good he is. They hate him because he is arguably the biggest waste of talent in the history of boxing. He is so good he should be smashin on the best of the best but he's not...

He is simply the heavy favorite that's askin that we skip the tournament and just hand him the trophy already because "we all know he'd mop everyone up".

It doesnt work that way my friend. He has to go out there and earn it by fighting the best of the best.....not just sitting on the sidelines waiting for the last man standing.

                Naw.

I love his skills. They're crazy, and exactly what I love about boxing. It's his unwillingness to just call out and make fights with the best opponents out there which pisses me off about him. If he were a true warrior, he'd be saying "Give me Cotto, Pacquiao, Mosley, Williams, Margarito or Clottey and I'll whoop on 'em all!" - and then proceed to make the fights happen. I don't dig that cagey **** he keeps pulling, where he never straight-out asks for a fight with a WW, and offers them a fair deal.

Just put a name out there and make the fight, ffs!

honestly if floyd fought 5 more times shane, pacman, cotto, and 2 other top ww's and retires at 43-2..i think his legacy will be better than if he retired right now at 40-0

All he has to do is fight at least 3 (preferably more, or all) of those names I listed above, beat them (which he can do easily), and he's a legend.

Jus' do it, Floyd. Most of us know you're the TRUTH.
