its a unique situation, manny is the favourite unyet he will get more credit if he wins than cotto would as the underdog
    very strange indeed
Who gives someone more credit because they are the decided underdog? What ppl think based on speculation should have no effect on facts. If the favorite gets blasted out easy in a fight then he obviously shouldn't be favored, it just makes everyone wrong......lets not pretend these are 2 WWs fighting here, Cotto getting a win here would be the equivalent in my mind to him beating Berto.

If Pac looses then it's no big deal he still gets a lot of respect from me for taking the fight, but if Cotto looses then It''ll be a huge step down in his career.

BTW I am a fan of both boxers; but why do I have double standards on the outcome lol?
You have probably been reading too many Pac-Cotto threads in here lol.

This **** is nothing more than a built in excuse, in the event that Pac loses. A way to pass Pac's loss off as "no big deal" because of "big bad Cotto, picking on little Pac." And then praise him as a God in the event that he wins.

Thats reality....like it or not this is not the same as Cotto fighting a proven WW in his division.....to me its no big deal if he loses, Pac deserves so much credit for this even if he gets beaten badly.

other ppl were foolish and wrong. I don't let ppls opinions effect reality.....watch this end up a total mismatch as it is supposed to.

Both fighters shuld get credit for the fight. Look at who they have fought. They have no ducked anyone. Pacquiao's future is at 140-147 so I don't see it as being a complete size mismatch. Pacquiao might even stay at 147 after this fight but I see him going back to 140.

True but I don't see Pac staying at 147. I see him going back down to 140, and making a catchweight fight with Mosley.
