Do boxers wear contatcs in a fight?

I assume getting punched in the eye with contacts in is the same as getting punched in the ear with a hearing aid in. Just wouldn't be a good idea.

some do but its not a good idea here is why .i know first hand when you box and get hit in the face your contacts will fly off and then you cant see crap lol it has happen to every one i know in some point in there boxing macth your contacts will fly off

Just get lasik, or prk eye surgery. I heard PRK is good for contact sports.

Rau'shee Warren said he lost his contact in the 3rd round of his fight in the Olympics in 2012. He went into retreat mode after that.

I have sparred and fought in contacts multiple times and have them slip out all of the time.

I wouldn't bet my house on it, but I think that Larry Holmes did it in the latter part of his career.

Holyfield wore them in a few fights later in his career as well.

I only know Larry Holmes wore contacts in his fight against Holy, but they removed them in between rounds .

The professionals surely have laser treatment now a days. But lower levels I’m guessing are forced too?
