laila ali is supermiddleweight, lucia " the dutch destroyer " rijker is junior welter / super lightweight. if rijker fought ali it'd have to be a catch weight, like say, 155 pounds - which i doubt ali could make, and also i doubt rijker can pump herself up to 155 lbs - but rijker still lays a beating on ali even if she comes in at 140 and ali is 168. the difference in skills means the dutch destroyer stops ali late, and hopefully, busts up her pretty face. she'll never fight rijker, or anne wolfe, either though because ali knows she'll get a whippin from either of them - check out my sig, the last quote is about laila ali, i think it says it all

But Layla Ali was willing to fight Cristy Martin at a catch weight (or did Martin eat a bunch of donuts and move up?). And Cristy is gonna fight Lucia next.

Perhaps Ali knows it's a lose lose situation. She could win on points but look bad by just running backwards all night and sticking the jab or she'd get beat up bady. I think she'd lose to Rijker. Rijker fights like a man. She's fought some guys before and beat some but got dropped by one and was TKO'd.
