Morales easily beats either Castillo or Corrales. He's way more skilled than either guy and would easily beat them both. It'd be a mismatch I really think and would surprise a lot of people as to just how well Morales would beat both those guys, but I wouldn't be surprised.

I too think Morales is being underestimated. I give him a 40/60 shot, if he wins he's going down no.1 p4p! I do think he should try to fight a legitimate lightweight first though b4 moving up.

With Morales moving up in weight, does anyone else think that this leaves the door open to a Barrera-Pac rematch being more likely now that Morales has moved up in weight?
That is if Barrera is willing to get in the ring again with Pac, something he doesn't seem to keen on.
Barrera-Pac II is clearly the biggest money fight that can be made in this weight class right now.
But will Barrera take the chance for the nice payday?

barrera has too many reasons to refuse a rematch with pac...

well anyway, back to the topic... size and reach have always been morales' edge over his opponents... it will really be interesting to see him move up... i'd like to see a pac-em rematch badly but i understand it is also a wise move to move up in weight... just one question ULTIMATE... i have read from a news source that morales will compete if jose luis wins and vacates the title... does this mean he won't fight castillo???

is that so... i thought he wants to fight the best... there's no point fighting a non-sense oppoenent to get a title... if he does not fight either castillo or corrales for the title, he should stay at 130...
