Cotto fights a counterpunching game, gets cut, fight stopped in 11

Here's how I think the fight will play out.

Cotto starts out testing the waters with an aggressive game, trying to get Pac to either exchange or back up to the ropes. But Pac fights his in and out, turning game. For the most part, he proves elusive, making use of speedy feet to defend against Cotto's vaunted left hook and double jabs while landing quick one-twos, lead left straights, right hooks. Pac also launches blistering combinations whenever Cotto closes out the distance or catches him on the ropes.

The difference in speed becomes apparent, and eventually, a cut over the eyebrow that got opened in both Margarito and Clottey fights opens up again in the middle rounds.

Cotto tries to use Pac's aggressiveness to his advantage by backing up to the ropes to wait for Pac to open up and be more vulnerable to counter shots. But Roach has already foreseen this tactic and has Pac to wait 'till the championship rounds before he sits on his punches. Meanwhile, the cut gets worse and Cotto's starts receiving blows that he can't see. Pac starts sitting on his combinations against an exhausted and bloodied Cotto until the fight gets stopped in the 11th.
