after reading about pac for the 2nd time in time magazine..

I think hed be better served to keep doing what hes doing and not enter the world of politics. I dont think hes really built for something like that. He seems like a guy with a great degree of integrity and his heart is in the right place, a move into the political arena will force him to sacrafice a bit of that for the sake of political agenda and it might ruin what hes worked so hard to build up. What he does right now is simple and fighting, there is winning or losing, entering politics puts him in a grey area and the arena doesnt award people who do the right thing. I seriously hope he either loses interest in it, or doesnt win, because id hate to see any damage to his character.

Getting into polotics always seems like a good idea for someone that wants to make a difference but once you get there beuracracy, old boys networks and public opinion (not to mention other things) it can get very hard to make the differences that you set out to make. Once you stray from your original goals it becomes easier and easier to leave the path you set out on to do good for people, I would hate to see somone loveed like Manny end up like this.

Also I just do not think he is cut out for it, but sometimes that is what polotics needs but I think he would more likely get used by more wily polotician to serve their purpose.
