A question to anyone who thought Valuev was 'Robbed' against Haye

I thought Haye won pretty easily to be honest. I wasn't impressed or anything but I would have been pretty shocked if Valuev had been given the nod.

normally I'd give credit to the aggressor who comes to fight but at 7ft 2 with a 7 stone weight advantage I don't think Valuev deserves any additional credit

Being the aggressor doesn't count for a lot unless you're landing significant punches which Valuev wasn't!

If Haye won so did Dirrell , Haye landed less than Dirrell , I actually think they both stole their wins and the robbery was Dirrell .

Valuev was the aggressor? He landed more punches? It can't be the latter because Valuev was pretty much hitting air all night, and it ain't about how much you throw, it's about how much you LAND?

Haye threw less but landed the more meaningful and best shots on Valuev, more then Valuev landed on Haye.

Y'all hate Haye if you want too, but saying that Valuev was 'Robbed' is clutching at straws.

Agreed .... The only thing I have a problem with is the way Haye got the win. I watch boxing to see guys mix it up and let the last man standing take home the prize. Boxing is about putting some hurt on your opponent - not running and avoiding the guy for twelve rounds with a punch landing every now and then.

Boxing is turning into an acrobatic showcase with sporadic contact at best - And that's not why I like boxing. Put somebody on their ass already.
