Think Williams might be overhyped a tad

I mean yeah he looks pretty impressive but honestly what has he done to merit this kind of hype? We don't know how good 2009 Winky was after coming off a two year sabbatical. And the Margarito win could have been a fluke, Marg was catching up to him towards the end. He already has one loss to Quintana, who may not even be a top ten welterweight. We really can't call him the best in the world until he fights more elite fighters and is tested.

Williams is another swarmer, and swarmers are doing good in boxing.

I think he is a fine fighter, but yes, he´s being overhyped to hell.

It´s ridiculous to compare him to Hearns.

Also Quintana isn´t a bad WW, in fact he´s pretty good. Good enough I would bet for him, on odds, against Williams in a third fight.

A tad overrated? He is quite simply the most overrated boxer in the sport right now.He is so dull and unmarketable that his managment had to resort to the same old tired gimmick of being "the most avoided man in boxing"

Apparently other fights "supposedly" ducking(without any legitimate sources to back this up) counts on a fighters resume.

He still hasn't proven that he's a better boxer than Carlos Quintana,who schooled and humiliated him over twelve rounds.Quintana,despite clowning Piss Dub as badly as he did,actually gave the man a rematch and Williams isn't man enough to do the very same thing.

paul the punisher? haha. yes, overrated i guess. who are we comparing him with? i always feel that rating should be more of a relative thing.

when i have seen williams fight, i saw quite a few physical and mental gaps that could be exploited if trained for properly and using the right intention, would sort make paul williams look exposed.
