Well...let me pose you this question.. Who do you think talks more about each other..us/you about him or him about us/you? And...he could have been using the word prey, as in hunt, no?

LOOK at the TS arguments FFS, "what did pac do pre 2003?"

It aint us that's looking in the past.

As for mantra, its not really.

    Let me give you a example of one, to describe pink floyd fanboys like you;

    "Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda"

    in the end nada.
I am a boxing fan. I don't allow my blind hatred and desire for him to lose cloud the issue.

No one really wanted to see the Baldo fight. But general consensus wanted to see DLH, even if you didin't..They were picking DLH to win, being the bigger man and all that. Judah was supposed to beat Floyd too, fast southpaw and all that. Lennox Lewis even said in an HBO broadcast, he would like to see that fight. Hatton was also in demand then. And there was a fair share of people that said Hatton's smothering come forward style would be too much for Floyd.

But when he beat them all, instead of getting props, we hear all these excuses. Then why were they built up before the fight by fans, and pundits, to have a good chance, or be even favored, to defeat Floyd?

btw, I didn't vote on this, cuz I like Pac too.

I think the impact of his fights makes up for less names

floyd was a 2 to 1 favorite against oscar and a huge favorite against judah. when money is on the line oddsmakers don't fool around like ****** people saying judah would win even though he just lost to freaking baldomir.

The fact that a asian lower weight fighter like Pacquiao has the status that he has & has surpassed a american fighter who fought at higher weights is mind boggling.

Pink Floyd has already lost the battle & the war.

            so true!!

you are quoting betting odds at me?

Then why.. is Pac... favored in the odds, when most of the distinguished gents in this forum overwhelmingly think Cotto will win? If you check all the polls.

Lol @ betting odds. They are hit or miss.

I'm talking about what sports broadcasters, pundits, and fans, were saying at the time.

                But hindsight is a *****...obviously.

It's nothing to do with prey, or hunting. Floyd suggested that people pray for his downfall. Not prey for his downfall, or hunt for his downfall. That doesn't even make sense.

Damn man, I cannot be bothered with this. I could answer, so don't think I'm backing off from your superb post which totally owned me, I just really cannot be ****ed with this stuff any longer. I'm arguing about a person I don't even like. Arguing about a guy who acts like a prick (whether it's an act or not), a liar, a businessman, anything but the fighter he claims to be.

**** it. I'ma rip the letters F L O Y and D off my keyboard completely. This ***** claimed my favorite fighter takes steroids. I will never like him or give him props for being such a dirty scumbag. End of story.

Yeah this didnt go to well....

But Mayweather gets no love on NSB so the haters will vote just to make him lose a poll. I didnt need to put a poll but I did it to see the absurdity of the bias. I mean lets say Pac's resume is better than Mayweathers, it isnt by much but the poll shows otherwise.

they are not hit or miss. vegas oddsmakers know what they are doing and get most fights correctly. that's how they make their money. yes they get some fights wrong and maybe they will get cotto-pac wrong but if you think they are in the negative...........
