What if Manny cant hurt Cotto?

Great question. I've been thinking about it myself.

I think if Cotto can take Pac's punch, Manny is in for a long night.

FTR I think Cotto can take Manny's punch.

I don't know how much Pac actually hurt Oscar. At no point was Oscar close to being knocked out. He was just too fast for Oscar and was beating him up.

Oscar was getting beat up and Oscar showed signs of a fighter who was completely drained and spent. Pac doesnt have to hurt Cotto to win, but he would have to suddenly be able to show elusiveness and boxing skills that I have not seen in him even in the DLH fight. I dont see Pac hurting Cotto either so I think he is in the fight of his life. If he does take Cotto out I will be very very impressed, if he gives Cotto a boxing clinic I will actually be even more impressed cause I still dont think he has that type of skill set.

Dude he kicked the **** out of DLH what fight were you watching. DLH has a stellar chin, Cotto doesn't.

I donīt think Manny not being able to hurt Cotto is the biggest problem for Pac. I think he already knows he wonīt be able to one punch KO him.

I do think the problem for Manny will be trying to work up a UD while avoiding Cottoīs JAB for 48 minutes.

Cotto had a great job early on against Mosley.

But I've never seen him use it for 12 rounds.

It's a shame too. It was better than I thought or I had seen previously.

Looking at Pacs frame though I have a bad feeling if Cotto can get to him with the jab or for that matter most any punch he is gonna get busted up bad. The guy is ripped but still has the frame of maybe a 135 pound fighter. That aint good against a punisher like Cotto.
