Cotto/Pac has turned into a hype/popularity contest

I like Pac a lot. He seems like a pretty nice person, even with all that fame around him.

But come on, he has no business being in that ring with any top 147 fighter, not because he´s not good (he´s great) it´s just that he cannot take the punishment. Simple as that.

He can probably rule 140 and still be considered P4P #1. There is no one at 140 that can beat him. A bout with Malignaggi would be very entertaining and the 24/7, hysterical. Pac/Mayweather at 140 would be a battle for the AGES.

But he will get MUGGED by Miguel Cotto.

And I can´t even believe some real boxing fans are in the bandwagon.

This is looking more and more like the War/Márquez days. Only this time it won´t be a fighter who likes to stay outside and bore you into a UD, it will be a robotic killer drone beating on a great fighter who has no business with the WW elite.

Mark my words: Pac will be brutalized.

So there is not much difference in fighting Malignaggi, Hatton, Díaz than, say Cotto, Margarito, Mosley, I guess...

That´s what makes it exciting. Every time there is a mismatch, everyone knows it is a mismatch at first. As fight night closes in, people let the hype/love for the boxer/nationality get in the way of Plain Basic Common Sense and start making wild predictions.

This fight was a mismatch from the start. Cotto will mail Pac.
