Has Manny Pacman inspired future Filipino Boxing Generations?

Is it too early to think that Manny Pacman may have inspired young Filipinos to take up boxing? Will there be another Filipino great in the future because of Pacman?

No but he's inspired regular Filipino kids making them think they could fight in the street now. I've seen plenty of those guys get their asses kicked downtown.

              Then I know your lying..

First off I dont see many filipinos kids fighting here in the bay.. most filipinos kids here are mostly break dancers or playing sports.

Plus I work as a bouncer at nights clubs in SF.. and I rarely seen filipinos start **** with anyone.

And if your are from SJ.. you know that the trouble makers here are Viet and Mexicans,

And if you spent time in the gym.. From Gold gym in SC to 24 fitness in SJ and Milipitas you would see that most of the biggest and strongest guys in the gym are filipinos..

Pac hasnt inspired ****. There's always been plenty of talented fighters from the philippines and asia in general. But they've largely gone un-noticed for the most part because of the lack of exposure and the lack of big name competition.

What Pac has done is not inspire future generations of young men to take up gloves because they've been there even before him and will be there long after he is gone. But Pac has opened the doors for future promising asian fighters to get their fair shot because boxing as a business is just now realizing there is a huge market with alot of money to be made in asia.

No longer will guys like Chris John go unnoticed in their respective divisions while guys like barrera, morales, marquez get all the glory and all the opportunities for big fights even though the asian fighter can compete at just as high a level.
