    LOS ANGELES - It was a historic night in the Arena Nürnberger Versicherung in Nuremberg, Germany Saturday night, as London's David "Hayemaker" Haye became the first British-born Heavyweight World Champion since Lennox Lewis and joined Evander Holyfield as the only former Cruiserweight World Champions to own a heavyweight title. Haye defeated seven-foot giant Nikolai Valuev via majority decision to claim the WBA Heavyweight World Title becoming Golden Boy Promotions' newest Heavyweight World Champion. [details]

                    Yes they signed him up maybe nearly a year ago. I rememebr Haye saying that something big was gonna happen in the next few days and then he announced it. However it wasn't a full contract it seemed which I was not clear about to tell you the truth. Not sure if it was only in America or something
