    andre dirrell

all fighting with there hands down, not relying too much on the jab and stcking their tongues out

but i'll go and say david haye is the closest, simply because he's got mad speed for a heavyweight and his chin is kinda suspect as is jones
Damn, at this point it"s not even suspect, it's found guilty.

      - David Haye had his feet horizontal and countered Valuev while that.
      - He also did Roy's raising one hand like leonard
      - Another one is this

holding the right hand like you hold a candle up high to block the opponents punch and throw a left hook.
He didn't there, but there wasn't any better picture.

      His stance is also similar
He got a lot more of Roy moves

Anthony Mundine and Dawson are similar from time to time

Will there be another Roy Jones? Probably not...
The level of pure athletiscism that Roy brought you might see once in a century. Keep looking at upcoming prospects if you all want to but you're gonna have to look a long long time. Roys physcial ability which made his style of fighting possible is without equal.

If Andre Dirrell had more confidence and the power - he would be the closest to Roy Jones!

An Olympic gold medalist who took his time stepping up in class when many thought he was moving too slow. A fighter with great talent and work ethic, one who was quite often compared to Jones coming out of the amateurs. Very similar. Do I think he'll be the next Roy? No. But if you ask me who is closest to possibly becoming that, I think it's him.
I still stand by the above. Styles aren't as similar as when Ward was younger (when he really fought like Roy) but everything else in terms of career path, etc. is very, very close.

I think its safe to rule him out at this point.

Will boxing have another Roy? (Was his song true? )= "Probably not"
Call me crazy, but I think you're witnessing it now. It's PAC that comes closest to Roy.

What seperates Roy from PAC is that Roy was defensive minded and PAC is ultra-agressive. But, man, the way those two are so explosive with their in n' out and side-to-side, punches coming from everywhere, that's where the similarities are.

I mean, y'all remember when Roy would let go of his sizzling combos, it was very much like PAC of today.

It's a pretty good comparison when looking at the overall picture..
