David Haye is a bigger cash cow than Mayweather

    Where's Horus?

Haye's first PPV did just under £1,000,000 PPV Sales

    What did Mayweather's do?

The fight was also broadcasted live in Germany and 8.4 Million people watched it.

    Just under £1,000,000?

What are you on about? He sold around 1Million on Sky. That equates to £15,000,000. That is roughly $25,000,000. Compare that to Mayweather who sold 1,000,000 against Marquez which equates to $50,000,000.

However, A Haye v Wlad clash could generate an astronomical amount I think if they both keep winnning. Perhaps even on par with De La Hoya Mayweather.

The question is, how many of those people will be willing to pay for the next Haye fight?

I don't see any reason why not.

If you are talking about the Valuev fight being uneventful, anyone who knows anything about boxing should have known that is EXACTLY what that fight was going to look like.. I expected that exact fight. I don't think Haye is going to fight John Ruiz like that, but with Valuev's size he had to keep on the move like that. Especially being a former CW.

I don't think you understand the british fans, it seems no matter what. They'll support their fighters no matter what.

Look at Hatton many boring clinchy fights when he reached higher levels (some exciting ones) and still did huge numbers for his two PPVs against Mayweather and Pacquiao, Haye is a HW and he has a large mouth and a big punch and bar this fight has had all but one of his fights end in dramatic KO fashion and it was exciting. HWs have always been an attraction, now britain has one that has a big mouth, big punch and brings the fight.

It was one fight he did what he had to do.....he usually fights in a more brazen manner. I expect him to make a serious effort to ko the sedative in boxing gloves we know as Ruiz.

I'm shocked it did so well considering it's his first PPV and he couldn't even sell out the O2 arena in his hometown against Barrett.

                    Valuev was a bigger fight.

Haye sold the pants off the Valuev fight because all his purse was on SKY PPV sales, with Barrett his purse was signed and sealed.

                    No reason to be shocked.
