Thats a weird thing actually. Because when i was growing up it was kind of cliche to talk about boxers as punch drunk. But you just dont get it now.
you haven't been around enough fighters then.

alot of times it don't show till after a fighters Career.

but the idea that fighters don't get punch drunk anymore is seriouslly offensive to anyone who's fought or had a fighter as a friend or relative.

Biggest champ ever doesn't mean you are good, Vakuev ****ing sucks. Good for Haye for beating him but he chose the easiest fight to win a belt. Both Klits would kill him and he knows it or he wouldnt have backed out.

No he's not. I've never seen faster hooks in HW boxing, well since Tyson anyway and neither have you so quit the BS Haye is legit and very brave in giving Valuev 100 pounds advantage. Most people here are crying about 2 pounds, can you imagine? hahahaha

50-1 HW champion sucks? Yes he does but 100 pounds is 100 pounds. Actually it was 98 pounds but still, it's a major accomplishment. And a 50-1 WBA champion hardly sucks that bad. He must have done something right, right?

PPL are still on this ****? Haye won and it was a good win because he had huge obstacles to over come and did what 50 fighters failed to do.....lol @ idiots upset because he didn't slug it out with a fighter 100.....well 98lbs bigger than him.

Haye is all bark and no bite. He said he would knock out both Klitschko brothers and they even gave him a chance to by making a contract to fight them both, but the he pussed out of both. He talks all this big **** about Valuev and how hes going to knock him out but then fights the exact opposite way he said he was going to into a controversial majority decison. Of course he will say he will KO Ruiz and he should because Ruiz is the worst heavyweight champ in history. But then all the sudden now hes the huge badass and wants to fight Klitschkos. Why didnt you do it when you had the chance Haye? Hes just a loud mouth scared little *****!

Record doesn't mean **** if you dont fight any worthy opponents. He is fighting in probably the worst era of heavyweights ever and he lost to Chagaev who got murderd by Wlad. Also he got beat by a shot 46 year old Holyfield but somehow got the decision. Just because Haye was outweighed by 98 pounds and won does not make it impressive. What would be impressive would be if he fought a REAL champion in Wlad or Vitali and beat them. Just beacause a guy is big does not mean he is good.

my real problem is, who had haye winning the fight?

not the commentator i was watching - and he was british. he made it clear who he was rooting for, but still had valuev up by 2 points(same score i had).

i mean, besides the 2 judges, did anyone else have haye winning really? i think the majority of people who scored the fight with a fair eye will end up with valuev doing just enough to win more of the rounds.

so, if we are saying that holyfield beat the giant, then lets be fair with this fight as well.

                      1. The klitschkos are the top fighters in the division.
                      2. The klitschkos are the biggest money in the division.
                      3. The klitschkos are the champions in the division.

as a boxer you want 3 things:

                      1. recognition
                      2. money
                      3. titles

When you don't take a fight that can give you 2 of those 3 , you're ducking.

When you don't take a fight that can give you all 3 , you're really ducking.

When you don't take a fight that can give you all 3 after you were running your mouth and making t-shirts with decapitated heads, you're a disgrace to the sport.
