cotto by embarrassing, devastating and life threatening TKO in the 6th round. honestly, this will be a brutal beating that could leave manny paralyzed, facing severe injuries or suffering brain damage. it's lop sided fight and it will show once you see little manny getting bullied, pushed and pounded around the ring on the night of the 14th for 6 rounds (if it doesn't end within the first 10 seconds of the fight with the first punch that cotto throws).

i'm genuinely worried for his health and well being after taking the crushing power of a heavy welterweight like cotto. i'd love to see manny back in the sport with the same spirit (that i hope isn't crushed after the embarrassing defeat he'll experience) fighting in lower weight classes where he belongs .

I cannot see Cotto's face holding up for an entire fight with Pacquiao. My initial prediction (many months ago) was T/KO for Pacquiao in round 6. If Pacquiao doesn't stop Cotto, he wins a decision. I can't imagine the judges being good to Cotto if it goes the distance, because it means Pacquiao-Mayweather is less likely to happen, and the guys in suits will do everything in their power to make that fight happen. Yes, even if Cotto wins more rounds, he could get robbed.

I haven't ruled out a win for Cotto, in fact he's one of my favorite fighters and only a fool would underestimate him. If he wins, he deserves respect, and there's no shame in Manny losing to a well-established Welterweight, arguably the best Welter on the planet.

It's a tough fight for both, but I can only go on my gut feeling, as I usually do with predicting fights, and it's hard not to see a victory for Pacquiao. He is way too sharp to deal with. Cotto will understand what Diaz said about Manny -- it's like he has blades in his gloves and the speed is too overwhelming. Manny doesn't need to be a super powerful puncher to beat Cotto. Weight won't be a major factor on this fight.
