Who's the last "Hard Hitter" that has really Connected on Pacquiao?..

    To my recollection..

DLH barely even touched him in the 8rds

Hatton hit him once I think and backed Manny a lil bit before bein ROCKED!..

He only fought at Lightweight ONCE against an OK-at-best Puncher in David Diaz..

So Marquez was the last real hard hitter that hit Pacquiao..and even wobbled him a couple times..right?..

If Cotto wins he gets full credit and p4p#1 status. 'Nuff said.

Pac has been more or less untouchable in his last 3 fights. JMM did cut him and hurt him a few times in that match.

        Truth is..

He won't get neither..I've been saying this is a Lose-Lose situation for him as far as a fans standpoint...

If he wins..he beat up a blown up featherweight..and should've done it easier and quicker..

If he loses..he lost to a blown up featherweight..and should be ashamed and hang em up..(according to some)

only way this benefits Cotto is financially..which his personal business..

and he won't get #1 P4P for only beating Pacquiao..he'd have to beat Mayweather next..

Those are only excuses. Cotto would have beaten the p4p#1 fighter in the world as well as everyone at welterweight who fought with legit hand wraps.
          He takes p4p#1, no discussion.

What has Mayweather done in comparison recently? Absolutely nothing.

If Cotto beats Mayweather, he'll just be cementing his legacy as Puerto Rico's best. He'd already be #1 by then. Mayweather would be fighting for that top spot, not the other way around.

I see it as a win /win... If he wins he gets to fight mayweather and that would set him as one of the top fighters in this decade ... If he lose then who cares he fought to a person who probably is considered top 20 of ATG.

TBH, I thought at the end of the 5th, Oscar caught Pacquiao with a quick left hook and it stunned him for a second or two before Oscar got him clinched up and landed those punches to the head. Other than that, Ricky really didn't land crap, and Marquez fight was too far down now to really use that as a measurement. Maybe Pac can take a better punch at higher weights? I don't know but, let's say Oscar who was barely alive in that fight did manage to stun Pac, and Cotto who will very much be alive, using that same left hook, if he lands it, Pac is out.

Yea I remember that..that's when DLH got a lil sloppy on him and kinda grabbed Mannys head as he was trying to tee off..lmao!..

I don't think it "stunned" pacquiao tho..more like got his attention..he definitely felt it..and I'm anxious too see how he reacts to Cotto's left hook..can they really neautralize it for the entire fight??..
